Walton House Nursery is now under new management and we are pleased to welcome our new Manager, Emma Deacon. She managed her own ‘Outstanding’ Early Years setting for 8 years, prior to joining our team in May 2018. She is well-versed to embrace the high paced environment of the nursery and can draw on a plethora of experience and knowledge from the following qualifications:
BA Honours Early Years. University of Greenwich (2017)
Diploma in Leadership & Management (2014)
Level 3 Diploma for the Children & Young People’s Workforce (2013)
Dip HE Nursing Studies. University of Greenwich (2000)
Child Development GCSE Grade A (1991)
Her steely determination and dedication has raised standards within The Early Years Sector and in particular, Walton House Nursery, which is evident in our latest Ofsted report…”A new nursery manager has been appointed…..she has made many improvements in a short space of time." - July 2018 (See the full report of our latest Ofsted inspection here.)
Before a career change in 2010, Emma graduated with a Diploma in Nursing studies and went on to work as a Staff Nurse for over a decade within the field of Day Surgery.
"We hope you’ll agree that by placing your child at Walton House Nursery with such a competent Manager leading her team, your child will receive a solid foundation to enable them to develop and grow.
We look forward to meeting you."
